School Is Back In Session: Please Drive Safely
Today is the first day back for HPISD students. Remember that when in a school zone the speed limit is 20 mph and you are not allowed to use a handheld cellphone. School zone hours are 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Please follow to traffic control signs during these hours.

St. Michael’s Women’s Exchange Announces 2022 Grant Beneficiaries
Proceeds from St. Michael’s Woman’s Exchange, a charity gift shop in Highland Park Village, this year will help fund grants totaling $500,000 to 70 beneficiaries.

On June 2nd Join Grant Halliburton Foundation for Eric Nadel’s Birthday Benefit at the Kessler! The National Baseball Hall of Famer’s 10th annual event will feature Cas Haley and Daphne Willis as well as a live and silent auction. Proceeds from the Birthday Benefit will support the Foundation’s mental health and suicide prevention education programs for North Texas children, teen, and young adults.
La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas Gala June 11
La Fiesta is a week-long celebration culminating in the La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas Gala, a formal dinner and presentation honoring the Duchesses and Escorts from the Park Cities. These young people are presented as part of a pageant representing the history of the Six Flags of Texas and the Park Cities.
National Rankings Show Highland Park High School Among Top-Rated Open Enrollment Schools In The Country
The 2022 Challenge Index rankings released today show Highland Park High School ranked as the 118th high school in the country, up from 173rd in 2020. It also shows HPHS as the highest-ranked open enrollment high school in Texas and in the top ten (7th) among open enrollment high schools in the country.
